Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 June 2026.

The short version

Hirra keeps your cat's health record on your device. We do not run an account system, we do not use analytics or advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.

What Hirra stores

The cat profiles, daily check-ins, weights and notes you enter are saved locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. This information stays on your device, and on the devices signed in to your own iCloud if you enable iCloud for the app. It is not transmitted to us.

What Hirra does not collect

No personal identifiers, no location, no contacts, no usage analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking across apps or websites.

Hirra Plus and AI triage

If you subscribe to Hirra Plus and choose to use AI vet triage, the specific symptom note or photo you submit is sent securely for that single request and is used only to return guidance. It is not used to identify you, is not tied to an account, and is not sold. The free app does not use any server.

Notifications

If you turn on a daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. No reminder data leaves your phone.

Linking to a vet

When you choose to find a vet, Hirra opens Apple Maps with a search. We do not send any of your cat's information in that handoff.

Health guidance, not diagnosis

Hirra's early-warning notes are general guidance to help you notice changes and decide whether to see a vet. They are not a medical diagnosis. Always consult a qualified veterinarian about your cat's health.

Children

Hirra is rated for all ages and collects no data, so it is suitable for use by anyone.

Changes

If Hirra later adds features that change how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the date above revised.
